3 Ways to Reset When Your Life’s Going Wrong

When we’re having a rough few days, week or a year, it can feel like life’s going wrong. It can seem like the more we try to turn things around, the more they spiral out of control. It’s times like this when you have to press the pause button. When we are carrying this kind of heavy energy, everything we touch connects with our negative spirit and can make things worse. Read on to discover how to press the reset button.

1. Hit Pause

Whatever you’re doing, hit the pause button. You need to reset your energy. Take a walk, hit the gym, or visit the beach or a local park. Submerging ourselves in nature is one of the best ways to restore a distressed soul.

2. Find Peace

While the universe is piling on the stress, it’s vital to make time for what makes your soul feel at peace. The calmer you feel, the better you’ll deal with riding out this unfortunate time. Different things work for different people. A little trial and error can help you identify what makes you feel truly grounded. Typical activities include working out, spa visits, taking a walk in nature, meditation, or yoga.

3. Prioritize and Focus

Prioritize the most important tasks over the next few days which have been building up. Getting on top of your business and life tasks will help reduce feelings of overwhelm. Start with the most urgent assignments. Ticking off to do items as you go along will bring instant awareness of getting your life under control. Focus on clearing your priorities so that you can set new goals and get your life back on track.
