The New Year is officially underway. I love it! One of my goals is to update my home. I wanted to share some of my 2019 ideas! Hit refresh on your home this year and get creative. Read on for some fun ideas inspired by Apartment Therapy!
Mix Patterns and Textures- To update your room, play with patterns that don’t usually go together. Introducing new textures into your space gives the eyes a little something special to look at.
Unpredictable Pop of Color- Add a hue in a unique space. Like on the stairs or banister. Bright colors don’t have to stick to the walls! Get creative with your space.
Get Minimal- Minimalism may seem like a buzzword at the moment but I think it has some staying power. Simplify your space with clean lines. Invest in products that last!
High Impact Design- Ditch the tried and true for something that makes a mark! Choose statement pieces that bring the eye. Focus on that one big piece and then design around it.
Get Playful- I love when fun and design mix. Your space doesn’t have to be stuffy. Become a kid again and see what you can come up with. More pops of color and fewer neutrals perhaps?
