I can’t tell you how thrilling it was to be able to watch my friend, Serena Williams, win the US Open last night! JR and I were able to enjoy the match in person, watching as the two inspiring competitors, Caroline Wozniacki and Serena Williams, faced off for the title. Back in April, I had a chance to meet up with the two ladies and enjoy their company over dinner in Paris. What I can tell you is that they are admirable individuals both on and off the court. Both women competed at the top of their game and it was wonderful to watch them both exemplify their dedication, athleticism and professionalism. In the end, Serena took home her 3rd title in a row at the US Open Championship, making history while she was at it as the first woman to win three in a row since the 1970’s.
Congratulations, Serena!! You worked incredibly hard for this and you deserve every bit of victory! JR and I are so proud of you!
