Here’s the hard truth about success no one is willing to talk about. Success does not bring you happiness. You can do all the imagining you want on the life you’re dreaming of, and yes you’re going to feel amazing once you hit that goal. You’re going to celebrate, and it’s going to bring you that beach house you always wanted. But then what? Then you probably have another goal to work on and then another.
The Truth About Success No One is Willing to Talk About
Here’s another truth: happiness and success come with suffering. It just depends on the kind of suffering you want to take on. You have dreams of becoming a successful Unfranchise Owner. That’s amazing. In fact, that’s what JR and I want for you! You want financial success, but the hard work that goes into it—that’s suffering. It’s saying “no” to parties, “no” to vacations, and “no” to your family members at times. It’s tough, so my question for you is: is it worth it? That’s something you have to decide. Is that suffering to reach your goals and get to where you want worth it? If the answer is yes, then you’ve found your clan and your community to help you get to where you want to go.
Same with happiness. What will make you happy? If it’s a committed relationship and a family of your own, then you’re going to have to take on the suffering of dating and rejection, heartbreak and more. It all depends on what you’re willing to take on.
What’s the moral here? Choose your struggle. If you enjoy the struggle of success, then you’re meant for it and it’ll ultimately bring you happiness. Are you ready?
