Facebook continually inches near Internet takeover. During a live news conference today in Palo Alto, California, the new Facebook Graph Search was launched by founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Unlike a traditional search engine like Google, the Facebook Graph Search allows users to comb the entire networking site’s database for everything from restaurants to job recruits.
Aware of a possible privacy scandal, you can only use Facebook Graph Search to unlock people, places and things based on their publicly shared information. This is about giving you “answers, not links.”
The ability to find and connect across the board is considered Facebook‘s 3rd Pillar: Newsfeed, Timeline and now Graph Search.
