How to Find Time to Read Every Day

You likely already know that the majority of successful entrepreneurs read an average of one hundred plus books per year. People who read enjoy various benefits including reduced stress, increased creativity, and enhanced brain function.

How to Find Time to Read Every Day

We have time for whatever we make time to do. If you schedule time in your calendar to get stuck into reading throughout the day, you’re more likely to hold yourself accountable.

1. Read when you first wake up.

Did you know that the average person scrolls through their preferred social media platforms every morning for up to half an hour? That time can instead be spent reading.

2. Dig in while you eat.

Instead of scrolling through your social media throughout your lunch break or during solo breakfasts and dinners, why not spend it expanding your mind reading?

3. Read while you travel.

If you don’t drive to work, your commute is the perfect tie to get lost in a book. Flights, beach days and pool time all make great reading opportunities too.

4. Read before you go to sleep.

We already know that the blue light from laptops and phones can stimulate our brains and keep us awake, so reading is a great alternative to wind down at the end of the day.

5. Make your me time your reading time.

Rain days, Sundays and Saturday afternoons are all ideal times to curl up with a book.
