Remembering 9/11

Today marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11.  Ten years ago on September 11, 2001, a series of four coordinated suicide attacks in New York City and Washington DC, 19 terrorists from the Islamist militant group Al-Qaeda hijacked four passengers jets.  The hijackers crashed two planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City; both towers collapsed within two hours.  Another plane crashed into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.  The fourth jet, crashed into a field near Shanksville, PA after passengers attempted to take control before it could reach the hijackers intended destination in Washington, D.C.  The attacks killed thousands of people.

Today we remember 9/11 and all those who lost their lives on this day.  Where were you on 9/11?
