Monitoring Your Progress After 20 Years

I can’t believe that this upcoming Market America International Convention will be our 20th year anniversary. It feels like it was only yesterday when my husband, brother and I were packing boxes out of our one bedroom home in Greensboro, NC. Wow! I’m still in shock, we have come this far and yet it feels like if it’s just beginning. After 20 years of hard work, perseverance and dedication our company Market America, in which we build from our humble home, is growing faster than ever. With a global community of Unfranchise Entrepreneurs from Mexico to London, Taiwan to Australia and all our other countries, we have extensively succeeded by maintaining our goals, monitoring our progress, and learning from our own mistakes.

After 20 years of experience, I personally feel like I have so much more to learn and so much more to accomplish.  Knowing exactly how far you want to go and monitoring your progress frequently is one of the key components of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Motivation is not only sustained, instead is monitored and heightened. Although it may seem like I have accomplished a lot in the past 20 years, I feel like the next 20 years will get even better. So next time you feel you’ve accomplished enough, take a step back and assess your goals by putting them into practice. Here are 5 ways to monitor your progress and determining your accomplishments.

Monitoring Your Progress After 20 Years

  1. Stay motivated. Great inventors such as Steve Jobs or Benjamin Franklin didn’t stop after 10 or 20 years, they kept thriving, fighting and learning. Think about what still needs to be done in order to reach further goals.
  2. Remind yourself that there still so much to do and accomplish. Don’t just give up after your first accomplishment, don’t celebrate yet, instead take it to the next level and ask yourself what’s next?
  3. Where will your new progress come from? What are you going to do to make a bigger dent, what will you do to change the new chapter in your life?
  4. Monitor frequent, become your own critic. Once you accomplish a task, reassess, analyze and figure out how you can do it better
  5. What else do I want to accomplished that I haven’t done yet?
