I will happily fawn over great design. For me, seeing something beautiful in a space is akin to seeing a great piece of artwork. That’s why I love surfing the Internet for design blogs and websites. One of my personal favorite blogs to stumble upon is do-it-yourself blogs (or DIY blogs). It’s so much fun to watch DIY bloggers get crafty and turn one thing into something entirely new. It’s like an addiction, and I almost cannot wait to see what those DIY bloggers come up with next. So to help you get into the do-it-yourself spirit, here are six of my favorite DIY blogs.

Vintage RevivalsMandi from Vintage Revivals is all about “fearless DIY.” She has a style all her own and looks at DIY as though it’s something she has to conquer by taking on big projects rather than small ones.

A Beautiful Mess I love the sister dup from A Beautiful Mess. Their blog is building them an empire, and how can you not appreciate their rustic quirky style. Their DIY tutorials range from home renovation to delicious recipes to some simple nail art techniques. Check out this Midwestern duo when you get the chance.

Art BarDo you have little ones and are tired of trying to distract them with TV and electronics? Want to get their creative juices flowing? Well then the Art Bar blog is the place for you. They have DIY creations that are great for the home too. It’s a little bit of everything and for the whole family.

The House That Lars BuiltThe House That Lars Built is a creative initiative by Brittney Watson Jepsen. As an interior designer, she decided that she wanted to show off her creative endeavors on a blog that’s now garnered her plenty of praise. She has an eye for unique design that’s simple and understated.

Lovely IndeedThis blog keeps its focus on small projects. Lovely Indeed began as a way for the blog’s founder, Chelsea, to keep up with her wedding DIY projects. Since then her blog has turned into a brand, partnering with Target, Old Navy, and West Elm to name a few. Chelsea’s design ideas and commentary will keep you coming back for more.

Little Green NotebookThe Little Green Notebook blog focuses on smaller projects. They have amazing ideas for small odds and ends and different design aesthetics for the eye that’s in the market to find something unique.
