Life isn’t always simple and there are times when our days reflect that fact. You’ve got a million things to get done on our to-do list everyday—we all do. The kids need help with homework while it seems as though your sister needs your ear 24/7 just to discuss her car problems. On top of that, your house is so cluttered you can’t even get to your own bedroom without tripping over something. Is this your life? Listen, it’s fine. Like I said, life isn’t always simple, but there are things that you can do to simplify your life and help you to feel a little happier. Read on to learn more! All it takes it some planning and know-how to create a happier and simpler life.

Develop Rituals and Routines- My favorite routine? Journaling. I do it everyday before bed. I’m also a beauty junkie, so I consider makeup application to be a routine. What’s a ritual for you? It could be picking up coffee from your favorite corner shop or your quick morning yoga routine. If you don’t have a routine, it might be time to consider creating one. We are creatures of habit! Make it something that makes your time valuable!

Free Up Time- Stop getting reading the click bait! Who cares what new drama is circulating on TMZ. Let it go! You don’t need to check your phone every second either. You don’t even need to take it with you if you don’t want to. What do you do that wastes time? Try to kick the habit so you can free up your time and create space for things in your life that you want to attract.

Learn to Say “No”- I know this is a difficult statement for some women, but learning to say “no” can free you up and help make your life simpler. Let go of obligations. You don’t need to listen to your sister talk about her problems 24/7. Learn to say “no” and you’ll have more time for the things you want to do.

Adopt A Minimalist Lifestyle- Get rid of all that clutter! Purge your unused items. Go through every room of your house. I know you don’t wear that shirt you bought sophomore year of college and that ice cream maker hasn’t been used since 1999. Less is more, plus you get to create room for what’s important!
