Road to Recovery: My 1 Year Brain Aneurysm Victory

It’s been a year since my surgery to correct a brain aneurysm so my husband and I took a drive over to Mount Sinai this morning for a post-op angiogram. It’s scary having to go back to the hospital for checkups but I know staying positive is key – taking these preventative measures every few years will ensure I have a long and healthy life with my family. I’m lucky to be where I am today and hope to help others in similar situations along the way.

The results from today’s procedure showed that I am 100% healed, cleared of any new aneurysms and the one from last year is still closed. I’m grateful to Dr. Patel and the team for all they have done to literally save my life.
