When we get sad, it's easy to stay in our unhappiness. It's easy to wallow and be miserable. Don't get me wrong, it's not natural to force positivity, but we have to get out of our funks when we're feeling down. It's important to be happy. You deserve to feel good. Read on to learn of the small ways to feel happier. Feel happy, be happy, ladies!

1. Compliment someone- It feels good to make someone feel good. Send a quick text to someone who inspires you to brighten up their day and your own

2. Listen to that one song- Play that song that makes you happy. For me, it's Dinero by JLo, Cardi B, and DJ Khaled.

3. Put on some makeup- Since I work from home, I'm often in sweats and comfortable clothes. Getting a little dolled up during the day, makes me feel a little more put together, which brings me happiness.

4. Put on your favorite outfit- Try on your favorite outfit that makes you feel like you're on top of the world. When you look good, you feel good.

5. Google funny memes- We all need a laugh once and a while. Look up hilarious memes to get you in the spirit.

6. Try tapping- Tapping meditation is a quick and easy way to change whatever is going on in your head. Follow a tapping YouTube video to learn more!

7. Call a friend- Call or text a trusted friend and tell them how your feeling. They might be able to give you some perspective on how you're feeling.

8. Evaluate- Evaluate why you're feeling unhappy. You can't force happiness or positivity so dig deep into your feelings and try to find the cause. Understand your feelings to fight through them.

9. Eat a snack- You could simply be hungry! Anyone else get hangry? Yup, I know the feeling.

10. Take a deep breath- Forget your problems for a moment and focus on your breathing instead.
