The Holidays signal for cozy blanks, hot chocolate, and days and nights snuggled up by the fireplace. But after a few too many days of being cooped up inside cabin fever is guaranteed to set in. Monday Motivation: 12 Ways to Beat Cabin Fever This Holiday Season

1. Bring on the books, or your Kindle if you prefer high-tech reading. Nothing beats self-development or shutting the world out while curled up with a riveting book.

2. Puzzles keep your brain sharp and are a great way to pass the time. You can even get some of your family members involved in the fun.

3. Start pre-spring cleaning. You’ll be ahead of the game when spring starts, and it feels good to sort through, purge, recycle, and donate your old things.

4. Feng shui your place. Rearrange your living room or bedroom to give new life to your space. Keep an eye out for a few feature pieces to breathe new life into your home in the pre-Black Friday sales.

5. Find time to tackle a home improvement project you’ve been putting off.

6. Start a new workout challenge to burn some of that excess energy or take a walk outside for some fresh air. Bring along your phone to listen to music or a podcast.

7. Stimulate your brain by pursuing a new hobby. Pick something you’ve always wanted to try, and go for it.

8. Have a popcorn and movie marathon. Binge watch a new Netflix show or pick some festive feel-good movies.

9. Take a high-quality vitamin D3 supplement to overcome the deficiency you will experience in the winter. Vitamin D3 can also help prevent the flu, depression, and colds.

10. Create a vision board and start putting a business idea into action.

11. Diffuse essential oils like peppermint, lavender, and jasmine for their mood-boosting properties.

12. Spend time with friends or family who inspire you. Brainstorm ideas with them on a new or existing business idea.
