The 2010s were an incredible decade. JR and I learned so much about the business. This decade brought us success, grandchildren, and so much more. We couldn’t be happier for what this decade has brought us. Are you ready to do a decade in review? It might take a moment but look over and see where you’ve been and what you’re ready to let go of!
What to Leave Behind in the 2010s
Think of Your Accomplishments- It’s been 10 years and a lot gone down. You’ve probably done some amazing things. Maybe your Unfranchise business is thriving, or maybe you got married! Amazing. Write down your accomplishments in a list. It’ll probably be a long list because you got a lot done this decade! Take your time to write it out and see how you feel afterward. If you need to jog your memory, look through old photos on social media, or maybe some older agendas. It might help you realize how far you’ve come.
What Mistakes Did You Make- Ouch, this list may be more difficult to go through, but it’ll help you realized what you learned and what you can let go of as we go into the new year. One big lesson for me has been fear. I tend to hold back a little, which is why JR and I have started to implement an action-first mindset as we move forward into the new year. Your mistakes will help show you what you need to let go of moving forward. Maybe you had some toxic friends and learned that certain people just don’t fit in your life—see where you may have failed yourself. It’ll be tough but you can do it.
One More List- Now that you know your mistakes, and the lessons you learned from them, it’s time to write down what you’ll be letting go of in the next decade. Maybe it’s toxic friends; maybe it’s disassociating less, so you listen to your intuition more! Maybe you’ll let go of fear and take on an action-first mindset! Write down everything you’re ready to let go of moving forward. A fresh start in a new decade might be exactly what you need.
