5 Beauty Trends We're Still Following in 2021
I felt most connected to all the beauty lovers and gurus of the digital world in 2020. With new social media makeup and skin-care challenges each week, all beauty lovers truly came alive! It was certainly the year of the trends. Here is a list of the top 5 beauty trends we loved and are still following in 2021.
Mastering the Glowing Skin-care Routine
Who else felt like their skin-care routine kept them sane in the midst of a pandemic? Being at home meant we had a lot of time to get it right and even more so educate ourselves on what works best for our skin type. Some of my favorite new additions to my skincare routine include the new Lumiere de Vie Astaxanthin products.
Everyday Makeup for Zoom Meetings
Let’s face it, we are still very much seeing our coworkers, family and friends even if it is digitally. The natural everyday will continue to thrive in 2021 as we find ourselves connected virtually. Popping on a fun lip color to elevate your look and make you feel energized to get your day going is one of my little self-motivation secrets. Be the showstopper of your team meetings in 2021 with this beauty tip.
2020 was a time to shine for new and seasoned beauty creators. It is amazing to see how creative we can get when we are inspired. From ghoulish queens to Christmas wrapping and everything in between. I can’t wait to see even more creative makeup looks inspired by trending social media challenges in the new year.
Colorful and Fun Liner
Whether it was lining your lower lash line with a bold pop of color, attempting a floating graphic liner or even creating a colorful wing using eyeshadows, making a statement with the eyes is here to stay. Check out this purple wing look using the Thalia X Motives BESOS palette.
Many made the transition from the natural bushy brows to the perfectly sculpted arched brow in 2020. A beautiful arch can help give dimension and a lifting appearance to the face. Get those brows on point in 2021 with my favorite brow products!
What beauty trends were your favorites and which will you continue to adapt in the new year? Remember, there are no rules in makeup so have fun with it and make it your own!
