Successful people understand that success is a lifestyle.  Most successful people have developed a consistent lifestyle routine to accomplish their dreams.   Success is a continuous journey.  At times, you may need a little blue print to help you along your way.  Here are seven ways to be successful:

My take on a lesson a life and balance. Maybe you've been climbing the corporate ladder, raising a family, starting your own business (or a combination of all three) and have become one-track minded, only to miss out on the little things in life. Weeks, months, even years can pass and we realize it's been too long since we've truly relaxed, since we've truly appreciated the experiences we have and the people we meet on our journey along the way. I'm here to tell you to take a breather, take a minute for yourself - a productive, alert person will always be more valuable than an exhausted, burnt-out one. Success is not your net worth it's how well you balance work and family, how well you can nourish your soul and at the same time go after your goals.

People often associate procrastination with being lazy, but that is not the case nearly as often as we may think. Lack of motivation or inspiration is likely to have us throw certain responsibilities on the back burner until the last minute, however there is another reason for the procrastination of projects that hold a deeper meaning. Fear causes us to become stagnant people; a fear of success, a fear of failure or a fear of the unknown tempts us to procrastinate our passions. Staying inside our comfort zone is exactly that - comfortable - but you must look fear in the face to truly achieve success. Yes, once you put a stop to procrastination and begin the journey towards whatever it may be that you have been putting off - weight loss, marriage, career, a business venture - you might feel afraid of the future but give it everything you have inside of you. Your passion deserves 100% of your attention and you need to follow your dreams, not put them off! Feed off the fear instead of letting it get the best of you; you are a brave, courageous woman for taking this step to stop procrastinating your passion. I believe in you.

You have an idea of where you see your life.  The problem is not your will power but exactly how do you get from point A to point B.  Connecting the two dots with what needs to happen in between can be a little confusing and overwhelming.  Create a road map of your future.  You vision boards are essential tools as they help you to keep your focus, however, writing down step by step processes to help you achieve those goals will empower you as well.

Creating Your Future

Often times we leave a lot of goals to chance when in fact we have a hand in helping our goals to manifest.  Yes, some ways to accomplish your dreams are completely out of your hands.  However, before any final decisions that need to be made by other people, you may have to engage in your own process.  Take for instance, you want to start your own business, you can take the active steps of applying for your business license, researching your industry, creating a business plan, creating a marketing plan, etc.  You are responsible for your future.  Create a road map to help you obtain the life you desire.

Greeting from Greece my dear friends! I am so blessed to be in Greece at this present moment with my family and be able to share this experience with all of you! Climbing to the top of Santori allowed me to reflect on all of my past experiences, failures and challenges, after all hiking Santori was a challenge for me. Success is not about climbing to the top and getting there first, it's about the adventures, letting go of your fears and having the courage to do it. Like my husband always says "the joy is in the journey" and so far mine has been an unforgettable experience!

The Dictionary.com defines success as the attainment of wealth, positions, or honors.  When thinking of success, the end result of what we desire to accomplish or what we look to become, the dictionary's definition seems small and incomplete.  After all, success is how we measure the depth of our life.  Have our we limited our perception and definition of what success is?  Success may not only mean becoming a corporate phenomenon but could mean forgiving an individual so that you could finally be free in your mind and in your heart.

5 Steps That Will Make You A Winner

Success could also mean encouraging yourself everyday to make to the end of the night.  Success is not only measured by the material accomplishments, cars, homes, and money, but a successful life is measured by the integrity, purpose, and passion of a life.  The lives you impact is what causes you to be a success. What have you measured your life to?  Is success written all over your life?  Can you find different angles that you can improve?  Or perhaps you may need to recognize that you are a complete success in full totality.  However you decide to define yourself, realize that you are the only author of how you define success.

Success Is Yours

You are fabulously successful.  You've succeeded at achieving everything you've committed yourself to achieving up to this point in time.  You've created a life that precisely meets your most genuine expectations for yourself and for the world in which you live. Are there things in your life that you would like to make better?  Then commit to doing whatever is necessary to make them better.  Expect it to happen, and it will happen.  In the past, you've achieved precisely what you were committed to achieving, and you can continue to do so.You are naturally and undeniably successful. You cannot help but be.  The question is -- successful at what?  Are you successful at creating the life you truly desire, or have you been more successful at avoiding it. That all depends on your expectations and your priorities. If your life right now is not the way you'd like it to be, then adjust your commitments and your expectations.  Because whatever you truly expect, will happen for you. What you truly commit yourself to achieving, you will achieve.

People ask J.R. and me what our secret to success is all the time. It’s hard to answer that question in just one sentence—there’s definitely a lot involved in the equation. But if there’s one piece of advice I can offer people who are looking for success it would be:  add a little extra to the ordinary things in life and you’re sure to be extraordinary. Those extraordinary people are always successful in one way or another.

A lot of the times we want to be successful, but we don’t even know where to begin. Success comes in very different forms. Everyone has his or her own definition. Some may think accumulating great wealth is success, while others may feel that being able to sustain themselves is enough accomplishment. To some, success doesn’t even come with dollar signs. It could be defined as raising a family or having a healthy relationship with oneself.

But the truth is, a lot of us don’t even know what our definition of success is—and that’s ok. When I was young, I knew I wanted to be great, but I never really knew how’d I accomplish my goal. Instead, I committed to being extraordinary. Any task I would take on, I made sure to make it a fun game where I could win—even the boring ones. Because let’s be honest, a lot of our day-to-day task can be a little, well, tedious. But we can chose whether or not we want that task to be boring. And how’s that, Loren? Well, take those ordinary life chores and find something interesting in them. That project you’re not excited about? Create a goal for yourself so you feel challenged. Don’t wait for your boss or someone else to challenge you. Set your own project goals, and you’ll see you won’t want to let yourself down. Go ahead; add a little extra to that ordinary project.

Let me know what makes you extraordinary on Twitter @LorenRidinger. I can’t wait to hear from you!
