I was so disappointed that JR and I couldn't attend Scott Disick's Ryu restaurant opening with our friends in NYC last night. Amber and Duane did go with Khloe and Lamar and she said it was amazing! You may remember in the last season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Scott was preparing to open a new restaurant in the Meatpacking District. Last night, Scott soft launched the opening of Ryu, which serves Japanese cuisine.

The new Sex-y star of the Sex and the City prequel was just announced, and we already can’t wait! You all know that aside from my family and my work, there are special spots in my heart for two things: New York City and great shoes. So I was super excited to hear that New York’s own Carrie Bradshaw will be returning to the big screen with new star AnnaSophia Robb.

What an exciting weekend - Saturday and Sunday were absolutely crazy but in an amazing way! I got ready, did my 3 hour Yours by Loren for HSN 2am - 5am show, took a nap and got right back up for the 3pm afternoon NY Insider Event with my girl Angie Martinez! How many of you own a car and how many of you use public transportation? According to research 86% of Americans consider a car a necessity in life, compared with just 14% who say a car is a luxury you could live without.  (Unless you live in New York City?)  In fact, when asked to describe a list of 12 everyday consumer products as luxuries or necessities, more American describe a car as a necessity than any other item.  this was also the case in surveys conducted in 2009 and 2006, as well as surveys conducted by Roper in the 1980's and 1970's.  Cars, unlike some other products have maintained their standing during the economic recession.
