Hi from the sky! JR, Amber, Duane and I left Hong Kong a few hours ago so I am officially on my way back to NYC. It is 16 long hours on this flight but I need to stay awake to get on east coast time! I can't believe JR and I are headed home after a month tour all over the world. Fantastic memories of launching Motives by Loren Ridinger in the UK, Market Hong Kong convention and then Market Taiwan convention with more than 23,000 of our most amazing entrepreneurs.

Just the other day I was struggling with Google Chrome, attempting to get it to work just as perfectly on my Windows laptop as it does on my Mac Desktop – and, honestly it just wasn’t happening. Web pages were freezing up; loading slowly and just didn’t give me the same visual aesthetics as I am used to on my Mac. Finally, I decided, it wasn’t worth it – I’d never had any troubles with Firefox, and back I went. Truth be told, I have tried them all – Safari, Firefox, Explorer, Google Chrome and Opera – I start to struggle with one and become curious if the others will offer more options or will operate at a faster pace. Personally, I always come back to Firefox, which seems to load the fastest and also seems to boast the least amount of frozen screens, which means blissful web surfing. Here’s my synopsis of browser must haves:

Market Hong Kong Convention has been a huge success! JR and I were ready to give it our all! We first arrived at Market Hong Kong Convention with country manager and hugely talented man Anthony Quan. Before stage presentations I went to our Motives by Loren Ridinger booth. It was amazing opportunity for me to chat with the beautiful girls of Market Hong Kong! Meeting the Motives trainers was fabulous thank you so much to everyone who came by to see me. I also took the stage to talk to over 2000 members of our Market Hong Kong family about Motives and getting paid to shop.

There's a new beauty brand coming to London! I'm so excited to launch Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger in London on March 17th. Earlier today, my husband and I announced the expansion of Market United Kingdom and our personal appearance in London. Motives Cosmetics is an great brand and I can't wait to bring this amazing beauty and makeup line to all of the UK fans. An award winning makeup line Motives is used by professional makeup artists, celebrities and beauty lovers. 

London is one of my favorite places to visit in the world and I can't wait to be there. London is filled with  an amazing shopping scene, great restaurants and aristocratic history for ages. I'll be arriving in London on March 13th for the launch of Market United Kingdom. We are so excited for this new adventure and can't wait to meet all of you while visiting. I'm always looking for cool and chic places to visit and shop while visiting. For now, here are some of my favorite places to to while visiting London: 

This is so exciting! My dear friend Lala Anthony stopped by our Market America offices in North Carolina yesterday to work on an amazing project with Motives by Loren Ridinger Cosmetics. Lala toured the facility, met with our wonderful team in Greensboro including our Executive President Marty Weissman (in the photo) and our Motives Brand specialist Kim Yow! The team and Lala are working on a very special project with Motives Cosmetics launching during 2012 World Conference in Miami.

I can't wait for Lala and I to share all of these products with you. They are extremely amazing and beautiful.

Happy Birthday to my fabulous brother Marc Ashley. You are an amazing brother, father and your dedication to helping others succeed is like no other. You are my best friend, my confidant, my strength and on your birthday I wish nothing but the best. Marc's devotion to helping others succeed is inspiring that has touched thousands of people.  It was only 20 years ago that I remember when Marc was packing boxes with us at 1200 sq home, dedicated and passionate, Marc did whatever it took to make things happen. Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you have to stop doing what you love. The beauty of having your own business is the ability to become your own boss, work on your own schedule and be able to work anytime and anywhere in the world. After a few days of shopping in London and visiting our Shop.com offices it was time to experience the Greek Isles. Even though, I'm in relax mode, I am fully equipped with my laptop, ipad, iphone and blackberry in which allows me to stay connected anywhere anytime.  Just because you are resting your body doesn't mean your brain has to stop functioning. Sometimes the best ideas come about when we are distracted and relaxed.  

In the photo above we are having the best meal ever in Greece and discussing our new upcoming projects that we are launching at the end of the year. If you want to become successful you must eat, breath and love what you do therefore your play becomes work and your work becomes your play.
