  • "You become what you think about all the time"

Never apologize for being yourself! Why be sorry for being you? If you come across individuals who are not willing to accept you for who you are, that is their problem. To apologize for being you or living your life is lowering, saying that another person's way of doing things is better or more worthy. This is not the case. We all like different things. We all have different ways of doing things. And that is okay!

Do not accept mediocrity in your life. There is no need to. This life you have is so enormous and full of so much potential; to accept less than what life has to offer would be to devalue its meaning. Why settle? Why settle to live a life that does not challenge you, bring you joy, provide laughter, bring surprises, and allow you to become your very best. Do not accept mediocrity in your life. To settle would mean that you have no faith that the desires that  lie within your heart are not obtainable. That could not be the furthest from the truth!

Loren Ridinger: Embrace Your Natural Beauty. I adore all things that are girly. I am a lover of beauty trends and I live for fashion! I am fortunate to have a fabulous glam squad that makes me look amazing for appearances and events. I am just like any other woman - when I look good, I feel good. But even with those great elements to enhance my features or define my shape, I actually feel just as beautiful when I am at home without makeup, in my more natural state. I embrace my natural beauty.

The Christian Louboutin Maggie glitter and snakeskin platform is my Loren's World Pick of the Week and straight out of my own closet! I'm obsessed with the Christian Louboutin Maggie glitter and snakeskin platform. That sparkle is everything! "Pink-gold snakeskin overlasted platform pumps with tonal glitter fabric and metal mesh capped almond toe. Low-cut on the sides. Leather insole. Signature red leather soles." I wanted to share with you what I love about being a woman. Monday night when I watched La La's Full Court Life, I could not help but smile when I saw the two of us on the small screen. It is amazing what is revealed to you through another lens. I smiled because I saw the fearless and wonderfully creative spirits that live within La La and myself. We are no different than any other woman. We have our mountains to climb and our bridges to cross.  Yet, we do so with great persistence and determination. Being a woman carries its burdens but the blessings are immeasurable. What creature on this planet can do what we do?

Walk your own path by Loren Ridinger. Sometimes I feel that people waste so much time becoming consumed in the lives of others. The amount of time that is spent policing someone else's actions or criticizing a decision could very well be spent working to better their own life. I believe that when you are living a purposeful life, there is absolutely no time to look at what someone else is doing. There has to be a point where you learn to walk your own path!

How to Leave the Old You Behind by Loren Ridinger. It is frustrating walking backwards. Have you tried this on a treadmill? You can do it for a little while and then you are forced to turn around. In your quest to become the you that you were created to be, you may have made decisions that created a change. You will need to learn how to leave the old you behind for good. You have shifted your dynamic of friends, the way in which you think, how you handle your problems and the idea of being proactive in your life. Many times in our transition, we experience opposition to this change.

Who do you trust most in your life? Trust is a very fragile element in our lives. It is how you measure the value of a person's role in your life. We use the element of trust to characterize a relationship. Trust is a huge component of which we base the interactions within our lives upon. Who do you trust? As you grow older, you realize that trust is so valuable that it is not given to hundreds of people but a select few who have impact and influence over you. Who represents this in your life? We cannot walk this journey alone. We are individuals who yearn for human interaction and guidance. We desire to be empowered and inspired. This only comes from people who we trust. Take a step back. It's time to examine the company you keep and the people you spend the most time with! Ask yourself, "who do I trust most in my life?" Who do you trust most in your life? Tweet me @lorenridinger
