Mompreneur Heather Hamilton of Zoe Organics
Thank you so much to Heather Hamilton for her guest post today! Heather began creating skincare remedies for her family shortly after the birth of her first child. In 2010, she founded Zoe Organics, a company dedicated to creating the most clean, toxic free skin care using only premium grade, high performance, organic plant ingredients. Her company has quickly gained respect and loyalty from parents, medical professionals and a growing list of retailers for her award winning eco-luxe pregnancy and baby skincare products.
I'm convinced that there is not a more exhilarating or challenging lifestyle than one of a momprenuer. Mom (mother): a) a female parent, b) tenderness or affection Entrepreneur: one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise. Although, certainly not a criteria, many entrepreneurial endeavors by moms are inspired by their children; whether creating a new product or service that solves a problem parents face, or starting a business out of the desire to work a flexible schedule around their family.
What Is Public Relations Anyway?

Are you an entrepreneur, business owner, artist ect. and constantly hear the words, you need Public Relations, but have no idea what it means? Well, join the club. Research shows that half of America have a misconception of PR. They think it is all about writing a press release, when in fact, it is a process and all about strategy. You often hear Public Relations mentioned in movies and TV shows such as Young and Restless, but do you have any idea what it involves? If not, no worries because I'm here to save the day! I consider myself a Public Relations guru. I like to explain Public Relations in two words, image and money! How well a product or service sells is determined by how the company of that product or service is perceived in the public. PR practitioners work non stop to make sure your company or organization has and maintains a positive image throughout the media and community.
How To Wear Neon
All the fashion magazines and blogs will tell you “neon is in” this summer, but how on earth are you supposed to pull it off? It’s not like you can just throw on a neon cardigan and call it a day. Incorporating bright colors into your wardrobe and beauty routine may take some effort, but here are a few suggestions to get you started.
1. Pair it with black. An easy way to wear neon is to buy a few statement pieces and pair them with black. Black matches just about everything and you can use items you already have instead of having to buy a whole new wardrobe around your neon pieces.
2. Pair it with neutrals. This is an unusual look that some people won’t understand, but we promise you will look fabulous. Take a bold neon top and pair it with a khaki skirt for a laid back look that everyone will envy.
My Beauty Tricks For Keeps

’Im quite the “make-up” fiend and I do believe that a new shade of lipstick gives you a new lease on life, so I figure why not share all the tricks I’ve learned along the way by trial and error, some I’ve read before and some I’ve given my own spin, hope they prove useful for your own beauty regimen.
Eyes:I’ve always read that you curl the lashes with the curler, then apply two coats of mascara for popping and alluring eyes, well my spin has proven to be more effective…I say, apply the two coats of mascara, let it dry for a few seconds then curl the lash pressing the curler for about 2 seconds, usually one press works but if you want even more long and voluminous looking lashes you can go for a second press and a third coat of mascara, try it! Let me know if it works for you.
Now That's A Turn On

Right away many of your minds went straight to the bedroom. I can list a ton of things that can turn me on that may EVENTUALLY lead to the bedroom but it doesn't always start there. I find it to be such a turn on when my husband takes the time to prepare a meal for our family. I'm not talking about ordering pizza. I'm talking about banging pots and pans together, chopping onions, taking the time to go to the store and doing the grocery, prepping the salad and arranging a bouquet of flowers for the final touch. NOW THAT'S A TURN ON.
What about giving my boys a bath, getting them ready for bed, reading them a story and then praying with them. NOW THAT'S A TURN ON.
I love date night when he opens all doors, pulls out the chair, preps my napkin, occasionally looks at me across the table and tells me how beautiful I am, walks on the side closet to the street while holding my hand. NOW THAT'S A TURN ON.There is No Death Where There is Love

It had been over a year since we were all under the same roof. As we sat around the kitchen table eating pizza, I looked around at their faces in a euphoric state of mind. It
was euphoric because we were together again, saddening because we gathered together to face the loss of a loved one.
Death is an experience that brings forth perspective. When you lose, you realize what you had and that what you had, is now gone forever. Moving forward is the most
challenging obstacle we face. The feeling of pressure on our hearts induces a pain beyond description. Death comes in all forms exposing the sub-conscience truth and
the truth hurts.
Follow Your Dreams

Guest Blogger: Sophia
Am I selfish? Am I too old? Am I crazy? These are the questions that hound me- scream at me daily as I throw around the idea of pursuing my dreams… if I could pinpoint exactly what that dream is! I am a 35 year old mother of two little girls… happily married… and my life is devoted to my husband, home and children. They- my husband and kids… not home… are the reason I exist. I love them more than I can ever put into words. It makes me happy to be there for them and to do for them…. It really does. I am a mother and a wife… that is my job. There’s only one problem…… something is missing…. It’s a constant feeling that will not go away no matter how much I try to ignore it. It took me a long time to realize what that something was….. It’s me.Mr. Mean Pants

There are a handful at each company. They come in all shapes and sizes. Some with gray hair, some are bald. They yell, they talk down, they belittle. So what do you do? Here are just a few suggestions.
* Don't take it personal. He’s probably has been a jerk all of his
life. Remember that it is him and not you!
Staying Positive

Guest Blogger: Margie Britto
How can we manage to stay positive holding a job we dont like? With the Economy being so bad? Not being able to progress? or do what we want to do? How can I be a positive person if reaching my goal is soo hard?
These are all questions that have come up lately between my peers and I so I wanted to share why and how I stay positive:-Don't surround yourself with negative people, people who are always complaining about their job, their classes, their life. I am a firm believer of the law of attraction- Negativity ONLY attracts negativity, AND its contagious!!!
What's in A Number?
written by guestblogger: Lisa Graystone
What’s in a number?
A birthday seems to put life into perspective, I just celebrated one and it got me thinking. It is a great time to reflect over the past year, dream about the year to come and start goal setting. In my experience women in general have issues with numbers. There are 3 big ones that seem to effect women’s quality of life and self perception the world over; age, weight and size. Acceptance of yourself and changing your self-perception is the key to conquering your numbers or can be a fabulous bi-product. First, you need to accept your age as a figure you cannot change, however you can change your perceptions. Sometimes women have negative internal dialogue (in conjunction with the feedback from media sources) to say “I’m old”, “a woman never reveals her age”, etc. as if it is something to be ashamed of. Those statements should translate into I am wise, experienced and powerful. Wear that number like a badge of achievement not a scarlet number of shame.
