How to Stop Caring What Other People Think

  1. Get in touch with what you need to feel content. Make a list of the things and life choices that will help you feel satisfied. Make that list your go-to for decision making.
  2. Speak up and speak your mind. If a friend or family member is offering negative commentary on your decisions, speak up! Explain why these things make you happy.
  3. Make decisions based on right and wrong. You know what’s right or wrong for you. Let that (not guilt) be your guide.
  4. Be prepared for the haters. Someone is always going to have an opinion, just be prepared and let it roll off your back.
