Monday Motivation: How to Stay on Track after MAWC 2017

February 13th, 2017

My favorite thing about MAWC is the energy. I mean, y’all really bring it and that makes me so proud! We built this company because we knew the right people would follow us and, trust me, you don’t disappoint. At the same time, I want you to stay motivated as you move on from this conference. Just because MAWC 2017 is over doesn’t mean you are. We’re all about working hard here at Market America and I’m not about to let you coast, especially after all the hard work you put in this weekend. What’s your motivation? Below are some ways to stay on track. Check them out!

Start With Goals- Creating goals is the best way to get something done. It’s also a reminder of your progress. How far have you come? Go even further while keeping your milestones in mind. How many people do you want to bring to MAIC 2017? Keep that in mind throughout the next six months. At the same time, you don’t want to bite off more than you can chew, so it’s important to make goals that don’t overwhelm you.

Start Your Days Right- Building good habits is the way to a happy and healthy life. When you start your day right, whether it’s with exercise, eating right, or completing your to-do list, you set your day off in the right direction. JR and I wake up early and get started on our day focused on what to do. We don’t stop until we get it done. It takes hard work, but I know you have it in you. The question is, do you?

Plan Ahead- Do you ever get some free time and waste it away on internet surfing or binge-watching? Listen, there’s nothing wrong with taking a break. You need to refuel, but use your time wisely. That’s why I like to plan ahead. When my schedule is in tact, my time isn’t wasted. Make your to-do list ahead of time so your energy is spent in the right places. You’ve got this!

Take Small Steps, They’ll Become Leaps- When I made my ‘Out of Bounds’ speech, I told you to get out of your comfort zone. At the same time, you’re allowed to start small. What’s the one thing that’s been scaring you the most? Don’t be afraid to take a chance and do it as soon as you have a chance. It could turn into something big in the future. I want you to keep that in mind as you go on after MAWC 2017.

What’s your motivation? See you in MAIC, people!
