Do you have the urge to save money? Everyone is feeling the hardships of this difficult
economy. Daily we hear countless
stories of how people have been affected through lay offs, furloughs,
foreclosures and debt. Like any
other recession, this will pass as well.
There will be blue skies and an abundance of opportunities at our
fingertips.
In the mean time, we have to be smart in how we spend our
money and what we spend our money on.
Here are five tips to help you save you money.
1.Sign up for every free customer rewards program that you
can. Having a rewards program will
allow you to receive coupons and deep discounts.
2. Implement the thirty-day rule: If there is an unnecessary purchase that you want to make,
wait thirty days.
3.Write a list before going shopping. This will help you to stay focused on
the things that you really need and deter you from scattered shopping.
4. Cut back on fast foods. The dollar menu does add up at the end of the month. Have more home cooked meals.
5. Create a visual reminder of your debt. The visual aloe should deter you from
unnecessary spending.
