1. Have a blood test done to see which type of grass you allergic to. There are different kinds of pollen and finding out which specific type bothers you could lead to allergy relief.
2. If you have a choice, opt for hardwood floors or tile instead of carpeting. If you have carpeting, use a HEPA vacuum.
3. For optimum allergy relief, replace you air conditioner's filter once a month to keep it clean and prevent dust circulation.
4. Drive with your car windows up and keep the windows closed in your home. Fresh air is wonderful allowing dust, pollen and other irritants from outside settle into your furniture and living space with only be problematic in the future.
5. Treat the problem from the inside out! My personal favorite supplement is Isotonix OPC-3 - studies show it is up to 20x more powerful than vitamin C and 50x more than vitamin E in neutralizing free radicals. It's also demonstrates anti-inflammatory abilities.

Blood tests can reveal a sensitivity to a particular allergen but cannot conclusively point to an allergy. Additionally, even if an individual is allergic to what they are tested for, and the results come up positive, IgE tests give no indication to the allergic severity to any particular allergen.
Because there are so many variables to consider (geography, allergen exposure, age, etc.), skin prick and blood tests factored in to a person's medical history is currently the most accurate way to pin down an allergy.
