Women Dominate At Social Networking

A survey fielded by Rebtel say women use social networks to connect with their friends, family and colleagues more than men. The survey focused on expected future use of social media, social media consumption habits and popularity of social media as the choice of U.S. adults if they were to be restricted to one method of communication.

Woman significantly lead men when it comes to social networking. While men are more likely to use voice/phone communication then women, they only lead by narrow margin. Here's a breakdown:

68% of women and 54% of men use social media to stay in touch with their friends.

60% of women and 42% of men use social media to stay in touch with their family.
