3. Color block it. Color blocking with neon is not for the faint of heart. This means wearing one bright color on top, another on the bottom and yes, another on your feet. Be prepared to get some attention if you go with this look.
4. Wear it as an accessory. If you’re feeling skittish about the neon trend, go with an accessory, such as a belt, bracelet or bag for a subtle pop of color.
5. Include it in your beauty routine. All the big nail polish brands (and even some fashion brands) are coming out with neon nail polish. This is a very easy way to wear neon, because nobody’s going to think you’re crazy for wearing hot pink nail polish in the summer! If you want to get a little funky, try neon green or blue. You can also do neon eyes or lips if you’re feeling ultra-bold.
6. Strap it on to your feet. Definitely, whatever you do, put neon on your feet. There are endless styles of neon shoes, from casual canvas tennies to rockin’ high heels. If the whole shoe is more neon than you’re ready to take on, just add colorful shoelaces to your white sneaks for a playful splash of color.
